Student Behaviour and Child Safety Policy

1. 정책 안내 Policy Statement

브리즈번 한글학교는 학생들이 안전하고 존중받는 환경에서 한국어와 한국 문화를 배우도록 돕는 것을 목표로 합니다. 학교는 학생, 교사, 학부모가 서로 협력하여 건강한 학습 공동체를 만드는 것을 중요하게 생각합니다.

Brisbane Korean Language School aims to provide a safe and respectful environment where students can learn the Korean language and culture. The school values cooperation among students, teachers and parents to build a positive learning community.

2. 아동 안전 선언 Child Safety Commitment

• 브리즈번 한글학교는 모든 아동과 청소년의 안전과 복지를 최우선으로 생각합니다.

Brisbane Korean Language School is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people.

• 학교는 **아동 학대에 대해 무관용 원칙(Zero Tolerance)**을 적용하며 항상 아동의 최선의 이익을 위해 행동합니다.

We have zero tolerance for child abuse and are committed to acting in the best interests of children.

• 모든 교직원과 자원봉사자는 아동의 안전을 보호하고 아동 안전 환경을 유지할 책임이 있습니다.

All staff and volunteers are responsible for maintaining a child-safe environment.

• 아동과 함께 활동하는 모든 교직원과 자원봉사자는 학교의 아동 안전 정책을 준수해야 합니다.

All staff and volunteers working with children are expected to uphold the school's Child Safety Policy.

3. 학생 기본 행동 규칙 Student Behaviour Expectations

브리즈번 한글학교 학생은 다음의 기본 규칙을 지켜야 합니다.

Students are expected to follow these basic behaviour guidelines.

• 모든 학생, 교사, 학부모, 방문객에게 예의를 갖춘다. Respect students, teachers, parents and visitors.

• 교사의 지시를 따르고 수업에 성실히 참여한다. Follow teacher instructions and participate in class.

• 수업 중 다른 학생의 학습을 방해하지 않는다. Do not disrupt the learning environment.

• 학교 시설과 물품을 소중히 사용한다. Respect school facilities and property.

• 지각하지 않도록 노력하고 결석을 최소화한다. Arrive on time and avoid unnecessary absences.

• 위험한 행동을 하지 않고 안전 규칙을 지킨다. Avoid dangerous behaviour and follow safety rules.

• 숙제와 학습 활동에 성실히 참여한다. Complete homework and learning activities.

• 학교의 규칙과 정책을 준수한다. Follow all school rules and policies.

4. 학생 행동 지도 절차 Behaviour Management Process

학생이 학교 규칙을 지키지 않을 경우 학교는 다음과 같은 단계로 지도할 수 있습니다. 상황의 심각성에 따라 일부 단계는 생략될 수 있습니다.

If students fail to follow school rules, the school may apply the following steps. Depending on the seriousness of the incident, steps may be skipped.

• 1단계 – 구두 지도

교사가 학생과 대화를 통해 문제 행동을 설명하고 올바른 행동을 지도합니다.

Teacher provides verbal guidance and explains appropriate behaviour.

• 2단계 – 경고 및 반성문

문제가 반복될 경우 학생은 반성문을 작성하고 학부모에게 전달됩니다.

Written reflection and parent notification.

• 3단계 – 정학

폭력, 욕설 등 심각한 행동의 경우 1주 정학이 이루어질 수 있습니다.

Serious behaviour may result in one-week suspension.

• 4단계 – 추가 정학 및 학교위원회 조사

문제가 지속될 경우 2주 정학 및 학교위원회 조사가 진행됩니다.

Further suspension and school committee review.

• 5단계 – 제명

반복적인 심각한 문제 행동이 지속될 경우 제명(퇴학) 조치가 이루어질 수 있습니다.

Repeated serious misconduct may result in expulsion from the school.

※ 제명 또는 학생의 자진 퇴교의 경우 이미 납부한 학비는 환불되지 않습니다.

Tuition fees are non-refundable in cases of expulsion or voluntary withdrawal.

5. 괴롭힘 방지 정책 Anti-Bullying Policy

브리즈번 한글학교는 어떠한 형태의 괴롭힘도 허용하지 않습니다.

Brisbane Korean Language School does not tolerate any form of bullying.

다음과 같은 행동은 금지됩니다. Examples of unacceptable behaviour include:

• 신체적 폭력 (밀기, 때리기, 위협 등) Physical aggression

• 언어적 괴롭힘 (욕설, 놀림, 모욕) Verbal abuse

• 사회적 배제 또는 괴롭힘 social Exclusion

• 온라인 또는 메시지를 통한 괴롭힘 Cyberbullying

학교는 이러한 사건을 조사하고 학교 규정에 따라 적절한 조치를 취합니다.

The school will investigate incidents and take appropriate action according to

school policy.

6. 학부모 협력 Parent Partnership

학생의 올바른 성장을 위해 학교와 학부모의 협력이 매우 중요합니다.

Parents play an important role in supporting student behaviour and wellbeing.

학부모님께서는 다음과 같이 협력해 주시기 바랍니다. Parents are encouraged to:

• 자녀가 학교 규칙을 이해하고 지키도록 지도하기

Support their child in following school rules

• 학교와 원활하게 소통하기

Maintain communication with the school.
